Sewing Project: V. Large Tote 2 (blog-a-day challenge, day 29)

Today I fine tuned the sides, bottom, and straps for the tote. I added interfacing to a couple of the thinner pieces and squared up the fabric, but I’ll probably trim each piece more before sewing them together.

I also chose the liner fabric today – I’ll post pix of that another day.

From left to right: 2 sides, bottom, straps. The straps are folded up and the right side of the fabric can be seen at the top.

      1. Thanks Patrick – I’d love that and I could use it either for the tote or for a similar upcoming project on the website, with credit to you, of course. If that’s alright, I’ll message you my address.

      2. Excellent! yes I’ll have a look at what I have available and then send some pics to you so you can choose. I’ll do it tomorrow morning. Where’s the best place for me to see your work Monique? just to give me an idea of your style. Thanks!

      3. I guess here or my Spoonflower or flickr site? I’m lalalamonique on those, too. I think I’d like to use your fabric as part of a smaller tote – basically a library book tote. Thanks again!
