What Can I do in 30 minutes a day? Parts 6, 7, and 8

This is a compilation of my work on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Sewing was begun; progress was made. Maybe not quite as much as I would have liked, as I had some sewing machine tension issues, which involved a bit of seam picking (included in the 30 minutes) and a bit of cleaning/oiling of my machine (not included in the 30 minutes). Unfortunately, I don’t seem to have the issue quite resolved, but (hopefully) good enough for now.

As you can see, the framing has been added to each motif, making up each side of the tote.  (I could have ironed the left hand piece a bit better, I admit.) Also, the sides of the piece to the right have been trimmed to 10 3/4″. This took some careful measuring and pencil lines drawn on the back. If you squint, you might just see the pins I used to determine the center point of the trimmed (right hand) piece. I still need to trim the tops and bottoms as well as the entire second (left hand) piece. I do believe the Prince-themed fabric looks wonderful in this setting, which gives me motivation to keep on sewing. Next session Monday, another update post in a week.

Thanks for stopping by.
